Terms of Use for Sound Materials / Makoto Kobo

All jingles and sound effects distributed on this site “Makoto Kobo” (hereinafter “Materials”) are owned by Makoto Kobo.
Permitted Uses
The Materials may be used free of charge for both personal and commercial purposes, provided the following conditions are met.
- Use in videos, games, apps, websites, and similar content
- Editing, processing, and arranging the Materials
- Commercial use, including monetized videos, advertisements, and products
Credit (Required)
When using the Materials, you must include a credit in one of the following formats.
Sound: Makoto Kobo ／ SE: Makoto Kobo ／ BGM: Makoto Kobo
※If you use both SE and BGM, you may combine the credit as “Sound: Makoto Kobo”.
Please refer to the table below for where to place the credit depending on the medium.

Prohibited Uses
The following actions are prohibited.
- Selling, distributing, or transferring the Materials as standalone files
- Registering or distributing the Materials or their derivatives on music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, TuneCore, or YouTube Music
- Using the Materials as training data for AI or machine learning models
- Misrepresenting the authorship of the Materials as anyone other than Makoto Kobo
Disclaimer
Makoto Kobo assumes no responsibility for the following.
- Any damages incurred by the user or third parties arising from use of the Materials
- Any infringement of third-party rights by content using the Materials
- Inability to download Materials due to site outages or maintenance
- Troubles related to file corruption or quality of the Materials
- Any issues arising from the user’s violation of these Terms
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated without prior notice. Any changes will take effect upon posting on this page, and continued use of the Materials will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms. Major changes will be announced on the site.
